Commencement 2015

The 2015 Human Physiology commencement ceremony is on Monday, June 15th at noon. The location is the lawn behind the Knight Law School, corner of Agate and 15th streets. Check-in begins here at 11:30. The ceremony should last about 1-1/2 hours. No tickets are required for this ceremony (or the all-university one at Matthew Knight arena). There will be light refreshments afterwards.

The deadline to apply for spring graduation on Duckweb is April 26th. There is a sign-up sheet in a red folder in the HPHY office where you can indicate if you’re participating in the HPHY ceremony. Next time you’re in the office, please sign “yes or no” by your name. You may also pick up a program exit evaluation and grad registration card, which may be filled out in the office or brought back at a later date.

Regalia may be ordered online ( Order by April 19 to receive special pricing. Students can order announcements for individual ceremonies as well as the main ceremony. Announcement orders can be placed with CB Graduation Announcements at or call 1-800-433-0296.

The optional all-university ceremony is on Monday, June 15th beginning at 9 a.m. Graduates line up in front of Johnson Hall on 13th by 8:15 a.m. to march in the Duck Walk parade to the Matt Knight Arena. This ceremony should end by 11 a.m.

The University strongly recommends parking at Autzen Stadium and taking a shuttle to campus. Last year there were 38,000 visitors on campus, so parking is at a premium. There will be golf carts around campus to transport folks who need assistance getting to ceremony sites. There will be ADA parking on campus in the Columbia lot below the Matt Knight Arena. A disability hangtag is required to park there. If you or one of your guests needs any special accommodations, please contact Cindy Wiser. We’re happy to arrange wheelchair seating for easy access.

We use GradImages professional photographers at our ceremony. If you want to view proofs and place an order, you can do so at or call 1-800-211-0436.
