2017 HPHY Commencement Information
The Human Physiology Department commencement ceremony will be on Monday, June 19th at 12:30 pm. The location is the east lawn behind the Knight Law School rain or shine, which is located on the corner of Agate and 15th Streets. Enter the site from 15th street. No tickets are required for the HPHY ceremony and no limit on guests. It will last about 1-1/2 hours. Graduates should arrive for check-in by noon, dressed in graduation cap and gown. Look for the check-in table to pick up your grad registration card. This is a non-catered event. Have a snack beforehand and bring your water bottle!
We will have professional photographers, Grad Images, taking photos before and after students cross the stage. Graduates will have an opportunity to order photos online shortly after graduation. Grad Images will email proofs to the email address you provide on the registration card.
The deadline for graduate students to apply for graduation is April 14th. Students apply to graduate on the Graduate School web site.
The deadline for undergraduates to apply to graduate for spring term is April 30th. Applications are submitted on DuckWeb. Students graduating summer or fall term can still participate in commencement, but should schedule a grad check appointment with our adviser Jen Strong to make sure they’re on track. The all-University ceremony will be in the Matt Knight Arena, on the morning of June 19th. Graduates may participate in both ceremonies if they choose. On April 1 registration will open for students to reserve guest tickets for Matt Knight Arena. At 9 am there will be a Duck Grad Parade to the arena, and the ceremony is from 9:30 – 11:00 a.m. Check the University commencement web site for complete information: http://commencement.uoregon.edu/
